I must say 2010 has started off well! I did a lot of things today that I set for my goals this year. I read my Bible and prayed, went on a walk with the family (and the dog because she needs exercise too), ate Subway for lunch, and updated Ryan’s website. Of course, I made time to blog too. As you can tell. I was also able to squeeze in a movie during Ryan’s nap. That’s not one of my goals, just some extra time where I got to relax.
Maybe I should add relaxing to my goal list? No, that’s dumb. Isn’t that just assumed? I guess not, really. Anyway.
Todd and Ryan have both been sick all week. Ruby the week before. I’m hoping it will skip me. Just like it did last time. I probably just jinxed myself, we’ll have to wait and see. I’m hoping I won’t have to start the new year off with a cold. That would set a bad vibe for the entire year. I figure if I don’t run myself ragged, I might get to stay healthy.
I’ve also been very good about cooking dinner this week. I’ve made dinner 3 out of 5 nights this week. On New Year’s Eve, I made Cornish game hens, fresh mashed potatoes, stuffing, and brussels sprouts with bacon. It was really yummy. I must say. I need to continue to get crafty with my recipe choices. We all need to keep our hubbies happy and their tummies full!
Well, off to bed I go. I hope 2010 (two-thousand ten or twenty ten?…hmm) brings you all love, peace and many blessings!
