Guilt and I like to meet at places like Taco Bell while sharing a bean burrito with sour cream and a taco supreme. Sometimes we also like to meet at McDonald’s for a cheeseburger and french fries.
I love my new friend, but sometimes he gets on my nerves (yes, of course it’s a HE!). He’s always getting on to me and makes me feel bad for my food choices. If I eat too much, he says, “Don’t you feel gross now?” He can be such a stick in the mud.
After all, I didn’t ask Guilt to be my friend, he just decided to start following me around a couple weeks ago. Like when we went to a burger joint last weekend called 50/50 for my brother-in-law’s birthday. They had these ginormous burgers and these yummy sweet potato fries with pumpkin sauce. You couldn’t help crying when you were done because you felt so bad. Thankfully they didn’t cook my meat enough and I was so grossed out by all the pink meat that I barely ate any of my burger. But darn those fries!
I think Guilt is going to be my friend for a long time. He really wants me to continue learning better eating habits. Guilt said he’d like me to lose another 4 pounds. Hopefully I can be friends with Guilt and then he’ll introduce me to his friend, That’s How You Do It, Girl! She sounds like a lot more fun to be around!

You are too funny Jen! I had a nice lunch at our favorite place (yes, Don Joses) today, but at least Abby and I went on a 45+ minutes walk/run this evening. It was a perfect day!
Oh yeah, sometimes Guilt meets me at Don Jose’s too. Darn those chips! Awesome job on the walk/run Jen!!
