Apparently God thinks I’ve practiced enough patience and he has rewarded us with a new home. Ha, ha! Ok, so I’m not exactly sure what He thinks, but I must have done something right. October 30th I wrote a post, House-Hunting Requires Patience, and then October 31st we made an offer on a house. Go figure!
See, God does listen to your needs if you tell him what you want!
Well, we still have to go through escrow before we can say the house is “officially” ours, but I’m hopeful that it will all work out. The bank accepted our first offer and didn’t even bother counter-offering with us. Plus, the house is really close to Ruby’s school, down the street from her mom’s, and on the same street as my brother and sis-in-law! God is good!
I’m so looking forward to moving into our new home, but I’m definitely not looking forward to all the packing, moving and unpacking. It’s even more exciting that we should be moved in before Christmas. What a fabulous ending to a great year!

You really will be Home for The Holidays

So glad you found what you wanted, wish I lived on the same street as my sister in law instead of so many States away
Good luck with the move!
Heading out to Napa on Thursday for a little girl time with an old friend – til Tuesday, serious grown up time … but you are WAY further South.
Maybe we can come up with a different link up in the New Year?
best wishes xxxx

Yes, hopefully we can get the house ready and be in before Christmas! As long as we can get contractors to come in and fix the place up. Wow! Napa sounds great. We went there on our honeymoon. It’s so beautiful there! Have some wine for me
That is so so awesome Jennifer!!!! Congrats and good luck! We will be praying
Thanks Meghan! We’re very excited!
