Christmas 2010

by Heavenly Mommy on December 30, 2010

This year we decided to do Christmas differently.

Ruby wasn’t going to be with us on Christmas morning, so we decided to open presents on the morning of Christmas Eve. Usually, we open them on Christmas morning.

Since Ryan’s only two, he didn’t really know what to expect.

Ruby, on the other hand, was very excited to open presents and see what we got her. Not Santa, but us. She recently found out the truth about Santa. She thinks it’s something awesome to have some inside information that her little brother doesn’t have!

I made a big breakfast after we opened our gifts. We had cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and bacon. Then I did some serious clean up of the present wrappings and boxes.

Later that night, we went to my brother’s to exchange gifts before we dropped Ruby off at her mom’s house. The kids were more than excited to open even more presents.

Christmas morning it was just the three of us. We opened some left-over presents and then hung out at home until it was time for lunch. We headed over to El Torito and had some Mexican food!

I got lots of cool gifts from my hubby this year. I would have to say I’m most excited about my Kodak Easyshare camera because my other camera I bought last year took horrible pictures. It has this “share” button to make uploading pictures to Facebook, or any other social networking site really simple. My hubby’s favorite gift is his Flip video camera. It’s compact and extremely simple to use!

Usually we head over to a family dinner, but we decided we wanted to stay home this year and enjoy the last days in our house before we move in a couple weeks.

We were even crazier for dinner and we went to the Panda Inn for some Chinese food!

I will leave you all with some pictures of Christmas Eve morning (these pictures are with my old camera). I hope your Christmas was amazing too!

One of Ryan’s favorite gifts, his Paper Jamz guitar.

And another favorite, Hide and Seek JoJo.

And last, but not least, his Fisher-Price Harley Davidson Lights and Sounds Trike!

Ruby’s favorite gift was her TOMS shoes.

And also all her gifts cards!
